PAL Student Athletes
With Jacksonville PAL Soccer, "winning" is not just how many wins-losses a team has. We strive for our players to be winners on AND off the field. Our program not only focus on developing winners on the field but we seek to have winners in the classroom. As such PAL Soccer is the only community soccer organization in northeast Florida that provides its student athletes with a variety of academic success programs.
PAL Soccer offers free academic tutoring for all student athletes in its sports programs. Any student athlete who has an average that falls below a 2.0, or has a D or lower in a core class, will be required to attend tutoring or will not be allowed to participate in sports activities. All tutoring services are offered by certified teachers and conducted at PAL classrooms. PAL also offers other great programs to help student athletes be successful. PAL has shown great progress with its free FCAT preparation programs, parent assistance programs, and more.
Jacksonville PAL Soccer program is like no other. It is our belief that soccer is the vehicle in which to teach kids the importance of academic success, improve self-esteem, leadership, teamwork and respect for others. Through these programs, Jacksonville PAL Soccer boasts the most amount of players with 3.0 or above averages, disciplined and continually strive for personal growth and success. The game of soccer provides us the opportunity to prepare children for the future, make right choices in life and always seek to be the best.
